VOLUNTEERS AND CREW
- VOLUNTEERSGrapevine can only happen because of an army of over 600 voluntary Crew who assist with the set up, running and the set down of the event. VOLUNTEER NOW!!!
- SET UP and SET DOWNLots of jobs to be done before Grapevine begins, help with fencing, signs, tables, chairs, etc. When Grapevine finishes the event is still not over! Help needed to pack equipment, remove signs, litter pick, etc.
- MARKING OUTPainting the lines for camping areas, walkways and sports pitches.
- BIG TOPMost of the heavy duty equipment will be done but help needed with chairs, bins, carpeting and much more.
- STEWARDSVolunteers needed to put out chairs, welcome people to meetings, help people and tidy venues after each meeting.
- SECURITYHelp the team make sure the site and venues are secure and safe during the day and evenings.
- FOOD COURTWork involves cleaning tables, emptying bins, welcoming people. Closed during main meetings.
- GROUND LEVEL SALESStaff needed to work shifts behind the counter. Closed during main meetings.
- MINI-MARTOur own general store needs people to work shifts, selling the merchandise etc. Closed during the main meetings.
- BOOKING INPeople needed for the Friday and Saturday to welcome campers and provide information.

GRAPEVINE OFFERING
- Grapevine 2009 raised a total of £165,000. The money raised during Grapevine 2009 was allocated into six main areas; home projects, youth projects, overseas projects, care for the churches programme, strategic leadership programme and support services for the network.
- Our Missions Programme within Ground Level Network has expanded significantly during the last few years.There are more and more opportunities at Home and Overseas. However, we don’t just want to maintain our present levels of support, we would love to be able to increase our Missions involvement. We will only be able to do this if you stand with us. The Grapevine offering give us a remarkable opportunity to do something together that will make a difference in many people’s lives.
- Our target offering for 2010 is £180,000. We genuinely believe that we can move onto an even higher level of giving for the sake of the Kingdom. Thank you for your continuing generosity for the sake of the Kingdom.

BOOKING INFORMATION
- Fees/Bookings/AdmissionCheque’s should be made payable to ‘GROUND LEVEL’. Deposits or part payments will not be accepted.
- Students, OAPs or the unemployed should provide suitable confirmation of status or a letter from their minister or group organiser to qualify for reductions.
- Additional Units must be booked before 31st July. Late bookings will be sited in a separate area and not with those already booked.
- Church groups will be sited together provided your booking is received before 31st July and you should ensure the same church/group name clearly appears on each form.
- Fees include units used for sleeping in. There is space for one car per unit and a charge will be made for any extra space required.
- Children under 5 are free. Families with children aged 5–16 only pay for the eldest child. This concession also applies to single parents.
- Young people over 16, children’s friends or youth group members do not qualify for or count towards the child concessions. Ages will be calculated as at 26th August 2010. Please include date of birth on the Booking Form.
- Admission for non-campers is by Event Pass allowing access between 8.00am (4.30pm Friday) - 10.00pm throughout the event for those coming for three or more days. This must be purchased before 31st July.
- Individual Day Passes are available.
- The Grapevine site is an agricultural showground and is unable to provide commercial camp site facilities.

GENERAL INFORMATION
- AccommodationCollege facilities are available. Single and twin rooms are available. All rooms have washbasins but share bathroom facilities. Breakfast and an Event Pass are included. Local accommodation information is available from the Tourist Information Centre 01522 873213 for you to make your own reservations. An Event Pass must be purchased before 31st July.
- CancellationsCancellation Fee - 25% before 31st July. All cancellations must be in writing and include all registration documents. No refunds after this date. Delegate places can only be substituted like for like (IE adult for adult place) when received by Grapevine in writing, from the booking contact before 31st July 2010. All substitutions incur a £10 per person administration fee. It is highly recommended that holiday insurance be taken out in case of late unforeseen circumstances.
- Site FacilitiesThe Grapevine Food Court – a range of food outlets with seating area provided. The Mini Mart – milk, bread, newspapers, sweets. Camping Supplies – camping gas and other items. We do provide toilets and showers.
- Disabled AccessWheelchair user section in Big Top. Disabled toilet facilities both near to the Big Top and on site. Disabled vehicle parking area near to Big Top and on site. See map in programme at the event for directions between the disabled parking areas. Please use your blue badge. Sign language interpreter and induction loop system are provided for main meetings.
- OfferingsFreewill offerings will be taken. These will be used to bless those ministering to us throughout the event and targeted to further the vision of Ground Level at home and abroad. Please pray about your contribution and come prepared and ready to give.
- PetsNo dogs (except Guide Dogs) or other animals will be allowed on site or in car parks. This applies to day visitors as well as to campers.
- Bikes/Scooters/Roller BladesNo Bikes, Scooters, Roller Blades/Skates or Skate Boards are allowed on site.
- PhotographyThere will be official photographers on site at the conference, delegates may feature in these images, which will be used for our promotional material, both printed and electronic, including the website.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
- What are the Meeting/Seminar times?Morning meeting 10.45am (Children’s meetings times vary and are slightly before the main meeting begins.) Seminars at 2.30pm and 4.00pm. Evening meeting 7.00pm (Children’s meetings times vary and are slightly before the main meeting begins.) Late night - see programme at the event
- Can we have electric hook ups?We only provide electric hook ups for people with severe medical needs, eg charging mobility equipment or powering respirators, overnight oxygen
- Are there exhibitions and times?There is a large range of stands from various organisations in our exhibition area with free information or goods to purchase. The exhibition area is open from Saturday to Monday, see programme at event for opening times. At certain times the exhibition is closed including during main meetings.
- Can I get food on site?The Grapevine Food Court includes a range of food outlets including fish and chips, burgers, baked potatoes, sandwiches, ethnic food and coffee outlets with a seating area provided.
- What food is sold in Mini Mart?The Mini Mart sells milk, bread, newspapers, sweets and a basic range of food and household items.
- How far away are the local shops?The Showground is approximately 4 miles north of the city of Lincoln. There are supermarkets on the northern edge of the city.

- Is there car parking?For campers one car can be parked next to every tent or caravan that you book. Additional cars are allowed on site at a charge of £15 per car or they can be left in the Day Visitors Car Park for free. Day visitors and residential guests must use the Day Visitors Car Park. Only cars with ‘blue badges’ are allowed on site if not camping. All drivers should exercise extreme caution and observe the on site speed limit of 5mph. Please avoid moving your vehicle around the campsite. Vehicles (other than those officially authorised or with passes such as used by our disabled campers) should not be used to commute around the campsite. We reserve the right to insist on any vehicle being removed to the car park. Please do not park around any of the Grapevine venues unless authorised to do so. Grapevine will have a pedestrian area located around all of the children’s venues. Vehicles will not have access to this area during the event. Please see programme at the event for full details.
- Is there a curfew?For the benefit of all concerned, there must be total silence after 12.00am and keep as quiet as possible before 9.00am. or security reasons, guards will patrol the site from Midnight to 8.00am. Please do not wander around the site during this time unless it is absolutely essential.
- When can I arrive at the event?Campers can arrive from 8.00am on Friday 27th August to queue and the gates open at 10.00am until 9.30pm. On Saturday 28th August the gates open at 8.00am till midday. Day Visitors Gate opens at 2.00pm on Friday and 8.00am on all other days for day visitors and residential guests.
